Bloody Mary Neapolitan Herb Balsamic - The Anointed Olive, LLC

Bloody Mary with Neapolitan Herb Balsamic

A savory Bloody Mary with layered Italian herbs, bright lime, and just enough heat.

Makes: 4 cocktails
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Type: Cocktail or Mocktail

Ingredients
  • 2 cups tomato juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Neapolitan Herb Dark Balsamic
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 dashes Tabasco sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 6 ounces vodka
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Ice
  • Rim salt and preferred garnishes (optional)
Directions
  1. Fill four glasses with ice. Salt the rims first, if desired.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the tomato juice, balsamic, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, celery salt, and lime juice.
  3. For each drink, add 1 1/2 ounces vodka and approximately one-fourth of the tomato mixture to an ice-filled shaker. Add black pepper and shake vigorously.
  4. Strain into an ice-filled glass, garnish, and serve immediately.
Why the Balsamic Works
Neapolitan Herb Dark Balsamic adds acidity, depth, and savory herb flavor without requiring a long list of dried seasonings.

Make It a Mocktail
Omit the vodka. Add a splash of sparkling water if you prefer a lighter drink.

Try Another Flavor
Try Traditional Dark Balsamic with a pinch of Italian seasoning, or use Espresso Dark Balsamic for a deeper savory variation.
