Rosemary Olive Oil Crock Pot Bread

Fresh rosemary and The Anointed Olive Ultra Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil give this easy crock pot bread wonderful flavor and aroma—all without turning on the oven.

Ingredients

  • 3½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast (2¼ teaspoons)
  • 1¼ cups warm water
  • ¼ cup fresh rosemary, chopped and divided
  • 3 tablespoons The Anointed Olive Ultra Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil, plus more for drizzling
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt or kosher salt, divided

You Will Also Need

  • Parchment paper
  • Paper towels
  • Crock pot

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the warm water, yeast and sugar. Let sit for about 10 minutes. The mixture should become bubbly.
  2. Stir in ½ teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons rosemary, 3 tablespoons Ultra Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil and all of the flour. Mix until fully combined, using your hands if necessary to bring the dough together.
  3. Lightly grease a large bowl with olive oil. Place the dough in the bowl, cover with a kitchen towel and allow it to rise in a warm, draft-free area for 1 hour.
  4. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and gently shape it into a ball. Let it rest for another 20 minutes.
  5. Set the crock pot to HIGH. Line it with two pieces of parchment paper, leaving at least 2 inches extending over the sides.
  6. Place the dough in the crock pot. Sprinkle with the remaining rosemary and salt and drizzle lightly with Ultra Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Cover and cook on HIGH until the bread is cooked through and golden. Cooking time may vary depending on your crock pot.
